Bosch Live Data – Your Fleet’s E-Bike Data, Straight from the Lock
I LOCK IT PRO pairs with Bosch smart system e-bikes via Bluetooth, reads battery level, odometer and charging status, and sends the data over its cellular connection – to the tracking portal and to your software.

Your Benefits with Bosch Live Data
Running an e-bike fleet means knowing which bikes need charging, servicing or checking. With Bosch Live Data, the lock delivers this information automatically.
Battery Level Across the Fleet
See which e-bikes need charging and plan charging rounds precisely instead of guessing.
Service by Mileage
The odometer reading of every bike is available, so inspections can be scheduled by actual distance ridden.
Charging at a Glance
See whether the charger is connected – for example after a bike is returned to a charging station.
Workshop Status
When the Bosch diagnostic tool is connected, you know the bike is at the dealer or in the workshop.
One Device Instead of Two
Lock, GPS tracking and e-bike data in a single device – no separate telematics module on the bike.
Open to Your Software
The data is available in the I SHARE IT tracking portal and via the REST API – for your software partner too.
How the Integration Works
The I LOCK IT PRO lock connects to the e-bike via Bluetooth through the Bosch Live Data Interface. Access is read-only: the lock reads the available values but never interferes with the drive system or the e-bike’s settings. The lock sends the data to the server over its own cellular connection.

- Start pairing: Connect to the lock in the I SHARE IT Service App and trigger “Bosch Pairing”.
- Confirm on the e-bike: Confirm the pairing in the Bosch Flow app or the Bosch Diagnostic Tool.
- Use the data: The values appear in the tracking portal and are available via the REST API – for your own software or the platform of your software partner.
Requirement: an e-bike with Bosch smart system and up-to-date firmware (as of May 2026). Older firmware can be updated via the Bosch Flow app or at a Bosch dealer.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which e-bikes are supported?
E-bikes with Bosch smart system and up-to-date firmware (as of May 2026). With older firmware, pairing fails – an update via the Bosch Flow app or at a dealer fixes this.
Does the lock interfere with the Bosch system?
No. The Bosch Live Data Interface only allows read access. The lock reads values such as battery level or odometer but does not change any settings on the e-bike.
How often is the data transmitted?
The GPS Edition Premium (DEF) sends live data on every ride, for example when the battery level changes or the charger is plugged in or out. The DEK and DED variants transmit the most recently read data once a day.
Can I use the data in my own software?
Yes. All values are available via the Cloud API. If you work with one of our software partners, they can access the data as well.
