The idea of I LOCK IT
Christian Anuth and Markus Weintraut, the founders of haveltec GmbH, were downright annoyed by constantly locking and unlocking their bikes at the university campus. They wanted keyless access and more convenience, as is common with cars these days.
The simple idea of a keyless bike lock matured into a real and complex product within 4 years. The smart bike lock, which can do much more, is conveniently controlled with a smartphone, opens automatically and is equipped with an intelligent alarm system.
The path led from an innovation award to a successful crowdfunding campaign and now more than 15,000 satisfied I LOCK IT users.
